About Thymogen.
Thymogen is a synthetic dipeptide (Glu-Trp) derived from the active fragment of Thymalin. It retains much of Thymalin's immunomodulatory activity in a simpler chemical structure.
Like Thymalin, the clinical evidence base is mostly Russian and East-European, with practical use in immune-rebalancing protocols.
Thymogen modulates T-helper / T-suppressor cell balance and stimulates the differentiation of immature T-cells in the thymus. It also reduces excessive pro-inflammatory cytokine production.
Subcutaneous injection, typically 100 mcg daily for 5–10 day courses.
