WADA notice for athletes.

Last updated · 2026-05-16In force · Version 1.0
This page is intended for patients who compete in sport governed by the World Anti-Doping Code or any National Anti-Doping Organisation (NADO) that adopts it. Several peptide molecules we compound are listed on the WADA Prohibited List, either in-competition or at all times.

1 — Prohibited classes that may apply

  • S2 · Peptide Hormones, Growth Factors, Related Substances and Mimetics — includes GH secretagogues (e.g. CJC-1295, ipamorelin, sermorelin, tesamorelin), insulin-like growth factor analogues (IGF-1 LR3), GH-releasing peptides (GHRP-6), follistatin antagonists.
  • S4 · Hormone and Metabolic Modulators — includes certain metabolic peptides under specific conditions.
  • M1 · Manipulation of Blood and Blood Components — applicable to certain protocols only.

The WADA Prohibited List is updated annually. Always consult the current version on www.wada-ama.org before starting a protocol.

2 — Therapeutic Use Exemption (TUE)

If you compete under the World Anti-Doping Code and a peptide is medically necessary for your care, you may need to obtain a TUE from your International Federation or NADO before starting the protocol. Peptika does not apply for TUEs on your behalf.

3 — Your responsibility

The principle of strict liability applies: an athlete is responsible for any prohibited substance found in their sample, regardless of how it got there. Peptika informs you of the WADA status of any peptide your physician prescribes, but the obligation to remain compliant with the rules of your sport remains yours.

4 — At consultation

Please disclose if you compete in any sport that follows the WADA Code. Your physician will adjust the protocol or, where appropriate, suggest a non-prohibited alternative.
