About Ipamorelin.
Ipamorelin is a pentapeptide growth-hormone-releasing peptide (GHRP). It is one of the cleanest molecules in its class: it produces a strong, dose-dependent GH pulse without the cortisol, prolactin or aldosterone elevations seen with earlier GHRPs such as GHRP-6 or hexarelin.
It is most commonly prescribed in combination with a GHRH analogue (CJC-1295, sermorelin, tesamorelin) because the two mechanisms are synergistic: GHRH triggers the pituitary to release GH, while ipamorelin amplifies the size of that pulse.
Ipamorelin is a selective agonist of the ghrelin / GHS-R1a receptor on pituitary somatotrophs. Receptor activation triggers a GH pulse mediated by calcium influx and protein kinase C signalling. Its selectivity for GHS-R1a — with negligible activity on receptors that regulate cortisol and prolactin — accounts for its clean side-effect profile.
Subcutaneous injection, 1–2 administrations per day per physician prescription. Typically 200–300 mcg per dose. When stacked with a GHRH analogue, the two are administered together.
Your physician sets the prescription. This is descriptive information, not a self-administration guide.
Lyophilised: store at 2–8 °C, protect from light. Once reconstituted: 2–8 °C, use within 30 days. Do not freeze.
